Different SEM strategies to make our business known

The SEM as a general concept is something simple and is quite clear. What is not so clear is often the number of ways to perform SEM that are available. We can not even talk about all of them because this would be an endless article, but it is worth giving a few simple guidelines on how this is organized. Remark that when it comes to making our business known online, strategy is always essential. You have to think things through marketing very carefully.

SEM can be done on a large number of platforms, commonly search engines and social networks, but there are a lot of websites where our ads can appear. Display ads, typical ones  that have colors and so on, are experiencing some regression because of the ad blockers that arise due to their abuse. Ads on search engines and social networks continue to work quite well.

The most important thing is to choose a SEM that appears where our potential users are. Letting us know by facebook if we are a consumer company can be very interesting, but in a company like this is quite unproductive. On the contrary, the search network often gives very good results if the configuration of the campaign is correct, which is sometimes very complicated. It should be noted that many SEM platforms try to get the maximum number of clicks even if it is between publics that have none interest in our products or our market. Setting the campaign without haste is an essential necessity to really be profitable .

In itself, SEM combined with technologies such as landing pages can be a very simple source of profitability, but the configuration of both the campaign and the landing page itself is far from trivial if we want really optimum results.
